Historical Background of the Course

The Diploma in Hindi was existing in Utkal University in regular mode from 1962 to 1982. One lecturer was also appointed at that time permanently. After his retirement, it was discontinued due to constraints of space and human resources.

Vision

  • The State Universities should provide suitable teaching facilities of the students; particularly in the Non-Hindi speaking states i.e. Odisha.

Mission

  • The promotion and propagation of Hindi is a national obligation.

Goal

  • We are constantly striving for the complete development of the Students. Establishing a Permanent Department of Hindi in Utkal University.
