Welcome to Business Administration

Considering the long felt needs of the students of Odisha ,the university has started MBA Programme in the Year 1984 with an objective of grooming the students for managerial positions in industries, business and public systems.The MBA (Regular) course offered in 1984.The Executive MBA (SFS Mode) course offered in 1994.The Integrated MBA (SFS Mode) course offered in 1999.The MBA (Agribusiness) (PPP Mode) offered in 2006.The Ph.D. (Business Administration) offered in 1992.

Vision

To develop the department and position it as the premiere institute among the few top business schools in the country.
To provide quality management education at a lower cost,especially for the disadvantaged and weaker sections of the society,while also keeping the trust on the needs of the small and medium scale entrepreneurs.
To develop the department as a nodal centre in the state for enhancement of skills of management teachers.

Mission

To build the students as complete human beings by enhancing their skills and competence level through quality education.
To develop entrepreneurial skills of students to take up self-employment to exploit the vast unexplored natural resources in the state.
To emphasize on continuing education for working executives to enhance their professional knowledge to be effective in their jobs in the changing era of globalization.
