Alumni

Utkal University MCA Alumni Association (UUMA)

The Utkal MCA Alumni Association (UMAA) is the official alumni body of the Department of Computer Science and Applications, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. Registered under Registration No. ____________, UMAA has emerged as a vibrant and dynamic network of more than 700 alumni spread across India and abroad. Established to foster lifelong relationships among alumni, students, faculty members, and the department, the association serves as a platform for professional networking, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and institutional development.

Since the graduation of the first MCA batch in 1993, UMAA has grown into a strong community of professionals working in leading multinational companies, academic institutions, research organizations, government sectors, and entrepreneurial ventures. The association plays a vital role in strengthening alumni–student engagement through career guidance, internship support, placement assistance, expert lectures, webinars, and industry-academia interactions.

UMAA regularly organizes the Annual Alumni Reunion (AAR), Silver Jubilee celebrations, knowledge-sharing sessions, mentoring programmes, social outreach activities, and alumni recognition events. The association also publishes JUMAA (Journal of Utkal MCA Alumni Association), which serves as a platform for sharing alumni achievements, professional experiences, departmental activities, and community updates. Through these initiatives, UMAA promotes lifelong learning, professional growth, innovation, and a strong sense of belonging among its members while contributing significantly to the academic and professional development of the department.

• We provide robust Web/Mobile/Desktop application development using various technology/frameworks for the clients across the globe.
• My area of interest is AI and cloud computing services.
