

Established in 1996, the department of Public Administration was created to address the growing need for quality education and research in governance, public policy, and administration. Since then, it has evolved into a multidisciplinary centre of excellence, attracting students from diverse academic backgrounds and promoting innovative teaching, policy-oriented research, and community engagement.
Alongside postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Public Administration, it also offers programmes in Journalism and Mass Communication, fostering interdisciplinary learning. With distinguished faculty, active research initiatives, and a commitment to academic excellence, it prepares competent professionals, scholars, administrators, and future leaders capable of addressing contemporary governance challenges.
