Professor (Dr.) Adwait Kumar Mohanty

Prof. Adwait Kumar Mohanty was born on March 14, 1945. In 1988, he started working as a professor in the Utkal University department of Analytical and Applied economics. In 1994, he graduated with a doctorate in economics from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, USA. He was Deputy Director at Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, Bhubaneswar, from 1985 to 1988 before becoming a professor in the department of Analytical and Applied Economics at Utkal University. From 2011 to 2013, he served as a visiting professor at IIT Bhubaneswar. In various Indian universities, he has supervised 20 Ph.D. and 22 M.Phil. scholars. Additionally, he has 48 research papers to his credit in several national and international journals. Additionally, he had expertise providing consultancy services to various government agencies.
