The Utkal University Journal of Computing & Communications (UUJCC) is an open-access journal publishing full-length research papers in wide areas of computer science and communication technologies. This is dedicated to promote growth of research in emerging topics of computer science. The esteemed editorial board represents diversity and expertise of members of the board in respective disciplines. This journal is published twice in a year by the Department of Computer Science and Applications, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
The department was established in the year 1990 with an aim to foster the growth of computer science education in Odisha. The university currently runs different PG and doctoral courses in computer science and application.

The authors are requested to submit their full version of unpublished paper using Springer
templates (Word or LaTeXtemplates at https://www.springer.com/gp/authors-editors/conference-
proceedings/conference-proceedings-guidelines) and send to the e-mail: uujcc@utkaluniversity.ac.in
The authors are advised to communicate regular paper comprising of sections (Abstract, Introduction, Background work, Proposed methodology, Results and Conclusion ). For the time being the journal is not accepting Survey or Review kind of papers.
The authors are requested to follow the template guidelines strictly. Papers not as per the
guidelines may be rejected.
The authors must submit both word and PDF files of their papers.
The authors are advised to include recent references in their papers and the number should be
limited to 20 or 25 articles, journals, books etc. (published Within 5 to 10 years). If available, please always include DOIs as full DOI links in the reference list (e.g. “https://doi.org/abc”).
The references should be as per the template guidelines and the text of the research paper must contain citations for all entries in the references section.
The plagiarism of the submitted paper need to follow the UGC guidelines in this regard.
The length of the paper must be within 10 to 14 pages and not more than that.
Should a submission be found not to comply with the above, it will be returned to the authors.This will delay the publication procedure.
In any circumstances, the decision of the Editor-in-chief will be final and binding in nature.
The publication in the Utkal University Journal of Computing & Communications (UUJCC) does not require the authors to pay a publication fee.
After receiving the ISSN number we have applied for UGC Care indexing.
We are already listed in ABCD index.
Next we plan for Scopus and others.

- All research articles published in the Utkal University Journal of Computing & Communications (UUJCC) will be made available online in a easily readable format with the requirement of any subscription or registration under a Creative Commons (CC) license.
2. Peer Review Policy:
- Every article submitted for consideration will go through a double-blind review process by two experts from the respective discipline.
- The reports for both reviewers will be considered for finalizing decision about the article. However, the Editor-in-Chief will have the final decision referring the both the review for an article.
- The publisher reserves the right to use plagiarism detecting software to screen submitted papers at any time and suspected plagiarism or duplicate publishing will be reported immediately.
