Utkal University founded in 1943 is the mother University of Odisha. Pandit Nilakantha Dash, Maharaja Krushna Chandra Gajapati, and Pandit Godavarish Mishra, amongst other doyens of modern Orissa, played a leading role in the establishment of the University. On the 27th of Nov 1943, the Utkal University started functioning at Ravenshaw College (now University), Cuttack. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India, laid down the foundation of the present 400-acre sprawling campus on 1st January 1958. The University thereafter was singularly honored when a great educationist Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India inaugurated the present campus at Vani Vihar on 2nd January 1963. There are more than three hundred general affiliated colleges under the University. The University has 15 Autonomous Colleges under its jurisdiction. It has 27constituent Post-Graduate Departments, 2 Constituent Law Colleges, a Directorate of Distance & Continuing Education, and a number of centers like Population Studies, School of Women’s Studies, Ambedkar Study and Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy Study, and an Academic Staff College. 

The Department of Computer Science and Applications was established at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in the year 1990, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation, the department has always produced quality professionals, holding important positions in the Information Technology industry in India and abroad. The Department started the three-year Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program in the year 1990. The 5 years Integrated MCA (IMCA) and two-year M. Sc. (Computer Science) were introduced in self-finance mode in the year 1999, and 2001 respectively. The Master in Computer Engineering course was introduced in the year 2005 with full assistance from the Ministry of IT (MIT), Government of India. Besides these, the Department has strong research interests in diverse branches of Computer Science and offers a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program aimed at producing quality researchers. 

ICIICC-2022

This conference will provide a platform for academicians, researchers, scientists, professionals, and students to share their knowledge and expertise in the field of Intelligent Computing, Communication and address various issues to increase awareness of technological innovations and identify challenges and opportunities for the development of smart cities using multidisciplinary research techniques. The aim of this conference is to present a unified platform for advanced and multi-disciplinary research towards the design of smart computing and informatics. The theme on a broader front focuses on various innovation paradigms in system knowledge, intelligence, and sustainability that may be applied to provide a realistic solution to varied problems in society, the environment, and industries.


PUBLICATION FORMAT

The Paper shall be 12-16 pages in Springer format. The proceedings of ICIICC-2022 will be published in Springer CCIS Series. Each accepted paper must be registered for presentation and publication in the proceedings.


REGISTRATION FEE

Indian Authors (Research Scholars/Students) : 4000 INR
Indian author (Scientist/Faculty members): 5000 INR
Co-authors/Participants: 500 INR
Foreign Authors: 200 USD
N.B: TA/DA to Junior and Senior Scientists shall be provided as per the guideline of SERB, INDIA

Authors should refer to Springer’s instructions for Authors of Proceedings and use either the LaTex or the word templates provided. All papers should be formatted in Springer LNCS format only.
