- Prof. Samanta obtained her Masters and Ph D degree from Utkal University and served the Department from July, 2005 to May 2010. Her research interests include redox regulation & omics biomarkers of human health & diseases with special reference to male fertility. She has published 87 peer reviewed papers, 17 book chapters and edited two books and guided 14 students for Ph D. She has been conferred with several awards like Dr (Mrs) Mridula Kamboj Memorial award (2023), Samanta Chandra Sekhar Award (2020), Raman Post-doctoral Fellowship to USA (2014-15), Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship (2012) among others. Presenmtly Prof. Samanta is working in Ravenshaw University, Cuttack.
