Prof. (Dr.) Padmaja Mishra has done her PhD in the field of Economics, from University of East Anglia, United Kingdom and Post-doctorate from University of Maryland, USA and PG and MPhil from Utkal University. Prof. Mishra having a brilliant academic career in the field of Economics has been served about 35 years in teaching, research and produced excellent PhD scholars, published articles in National and International Journals and Book to her own credit. She has been awarded with South Asian Research Fellowship by the Social Science Research Council, New York and fellowship from commonwealth and World Bank. She is also a visiting professor for different reputed Universities.
Prof. Mishra is a dedicated academic administrator in various positions and amplified the research and educational rigor of institutions she serves. Prof. Mishra served as Head of the PG Department of Economics in Utkal University, Director of School of Women’s Studies and Dean of Humanities in Utkal University and contributed as a chairperson and expert member of many committees.
